INTERESTING ARCHIVE OF CORRESPONDENCE FROM FDR AND ELEANOR, ranging from his time as Governor through his presidency, and including a letter from Eleanor to Mrs. Dodge informing her of an imminent appointment to the hospitality committee of the United Nations. The FDR letters from the White House all involve potential appointments, including an intriguing refusal from FDR to Dodge, noting, "I am sure you appreciate my position in this matter, and also my desire to serve you at all times."
