4to (298 x 236 mm). 6 original etchings by Picasso. Publisher's pictorial boards, glassine jacket, board chemise and slipcase. Minor foxing to margins of endpapers, chemise spine sunned, slipcase with some wear.

LIMITED EDITION, SIGNED BY PICASSO, number 404 of 1,500 copies. Picasso's illustrations playfully and sensitively "...capture the braggadocio of both the men and women in the play, along with the pomposity and potent sexuality of the men and the recalcitrance and potent sexuality of the women" (Rutledge, The Guernica Bull, 2008).
