With turn-off barrel engraved with foliage around the muzzle and with beadwork around the breech, border engraved action signed within a beaded oval against foliage on one side, and 'London' with a beaded oval against a martial trophy on the other, thumbpiece safety-catch also locking the steel, folding trigger, figured flat-sided butt mounted with a border engraved steel plate (wear and some pitting) on each side decorated with foliage and pierced to form a barrel-key, and foliate silver escutcheon engraved with owner's crest within a line engraved oval, London proof marks
