Each from Taiwan, the two likely associated halves of traditional tax and ownership documents separately framed and glazed, one a left half displaying a written inscription including a Qianlong 17th year date and red seals identifying the property as being in Changhua (Zhanghua), the second a right half with more printed text including a partially effaced Jiaqing 15th year date from the Tamsui (Danshui) region near modern Taipei.
