Two large Peko-style motoring ceramic tobacco humidors, German,
larger versions, both glazed painted earthenware busts, the first in the form of an early English motorist with grumpy expression wearing goggles and with peaked cap lid, with impressed number '9522' and painted 45 to underside of base, the second in the form of a female passenger with blue veil and green wide-brimmed hat lid, with impressed mark '9524' and painted number 51, both modelled after original early 20th Century caricatures by the Italian artist Peko and produced as lithographs, each 14.5cm high.

Buyers' Premium and Charges

BUYERS' PREMIUM AND CHARGES

Buyer's Premium on all Automobilia lots will adhere to Bonhams group policy:
25% up to £175,000 of hammer price,
20% from £175,001 to £3,000,000 of hammer price,
and 12.5% on the balance thereafter. This applies to each lot purchased and is subject to VAT.

For Motor Cars and Vehicle Registration Numbers a 15% Buyer's Premium is payable on the first £500,000 of the Hammer Price of each Lot, and 12% on the balance thereafter. VAT at the standard rate is payable on the Premium by all Buyers, unless otherwise stated.

Some lots may be subject to VAT on the Hammer Price. These lots will be clearly marked with the relevant symbol printed beside the lot number in the catalog.
