The cylindrical shaft vividly carved with a ferocious scaly dragon writhing amidst undulating ruyi-shaped cloud scrolls, all reserved on a diaper floral ground below a trefoil collar terminating in a flowerhead pommel, the other end enclosing the hair brush, the cover similarly carved. 22.9cm (9in) long (2).
