With sighted barrels, grooved tang, flat bevelled back-action lock with engraved crown over 'GR' and 'Tower', ring-neck cock (retaining screw probably replaced), figured butt (some old bruising, minor splits and repairs including beneath the lock and side-plate), regulation brass mounts including ramrod-pipes (rear one with minor damage), the forward one with ramrod retaining spring, and steel ramrod (probably later, steel parts with some light pitting and patination overall), Tower private proof marks

and 13.9% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £3,000,000.
