Philippe Terrot(1696-1781)a French Huguenot refugee from Pont-en-Royans in Dauphiné came to Geneva in 1700. Granted citizenship in 1732, he married in 1738. He was in partnership with another French émigré, Jean-Pierre Achard from circa 1750 until 1767.
