Assorted early motoring ephemera,
including a 1917 Miller Lamps 'The Lightgivers' sales catalogue for the complete range, blue card covers, 64 numbered pages, well illustrated, 8vo, with a price list and a typed letterhead from Miller Lamps, both dated December 1919, a George Phillip & Son Ltd 'A Dissected Model of a Motor=Car' brochure, red card covers, the last page with fold-out illustration, some staining and wear with repaired spine, large 4to, an Official Souvenir 'Godiva Procession' cord-tied brochure, designed and presented by The Daimler Motor Co. Ltd for the event held at Coventry on August 7th 1907, 8vo, a 1914 Stanley Automobile Club 2nd Annual Dinner Menu held at Frascati's January 15th, some ink annotations to front cover, 4to, a 1901 Liverpool Self-Propelled Traffic Association Official Programme of the Third Trials of Motor Vehicles for Heavy Traffic, and a typed letterhead from The Motor Union of Great Britain and Ireland, dated March 1908, relating to taxation of motor vehicles.

Buyers' Premium and Charges

Like the vast majority of auctioneers Bonhams charge what is known as a Buyer's Premium. Buyer's Premium on all Automobilia lots will adhere to Bonhams group policy:

25% up to £175,000 of hammer price,
20% from £175,001 to £3,000,000 of hammer price,
and 12.5% on the balance thereafter. This applies to each lot purchased and is subject to VAT.

For Motor Cars and Motorcycles a 15% Buyer's Premium is payable on the first £50,000 of the final Hammer Price of each Lot, and 12% on any amount by which the Hammer Price exceeds £50,000. VAT at the standard rate is payable on the Premium by all Buyers, unless otherwise stated.

Some lots may be subject to VAT on the Hammer Price. These lots will be clearly marked with the relevant symbol printed beside the lot number in the catalog.
