Cette remarquable Jaguar 420 G a été immatriculée le 28 mars 1969 au Royaume-Uni sous le numéro MMW 657G et son premier propriétaire aurait été un général anglais.

Le carnet d'entretien joint confirme un entretien régulier par Brown, le concessionnaire de Bath, depuis son origine jusqu'en 1977. En 1977, la voiture a été vendue par Leyland GmbH à Interfood GmbH (facture au dossier) et immatriculée à Cologne, en Allemagne, où elle est restée jusqu'en 2015 avec son second propriétaire M. Jochen Bischoff. En 2015, la Jaguar est partie en Belgique et y fut immatriculée en février de cette même année par le vendeur. Toujours dans son état d'origine, jamais restaurée – avec une belle patine intérieure – cette voiture est présentée comme démarrant instantanément et fonctionnant parfaitement et a bénéficié de travaux aux freins récemment. La voiture est vendue avec sa pochette Jaguar d'origine contenant le manuel d'époque, le mode d'emploi de la radio, la liste des points de ventes et des agences Jaguar (au Royaume-Uni), le carnet d'entretien mentionné plus haut et un exemplaire du manuel d'atelier de la Jaguar 420 (Werkstatthandbuch). Les papiers fournis comprennent les factures d'achat de 1977, les anciens papiers d'immatriculation UK V5, un Fahrzeugbrief et ses papiers d'immatriculation belge en cours.

This remarkable Jaguar 420G was registered on 28th March 1969 in the UK with the registration 'MMW 657G', and is said to have been first owned by an English General.

The accompanying service booklet records regular servicing by the Brown dealership in Bath from new until 1977. In 1977 the car was sold via Leyland GmbH to Interfood GmbH (invoice on file) and was registered in Köln, Germany where it stayed until 2015 with its second owner, Mr Jochen Bischoff. In 2015, the Jaguar moved to Belgium and was registered there in February that same year by the current vendor. Still in original un-restored condition - with a lovely, patinated interior - this car is said to start instantly and run well, benefiting from recent works to the brakes. The car comes with its original Jaguar pouch containing the original handbook,
radio instruction manual, Jaguar sales and service facilities book (UK), the aforementioned service booklet, and a copy of a Jaguar 420 workshop manual, (Werkstatthandbuch). Accompanying paperwork consists of the 1977 purchase invoice, old UK V5 registration document, old German Fahrzeugbrief, and current Belgian registration papers.
