One side of the rounded rectangular bottle of convex profile, decorated with applied stones, carved and painted in lacquer, gilt and color with a seated woman gazing at flowers in a vase on a low table, the upper right with an inscription, the reverse with a mostly flat surface retaining a layer of rich russet skin, decorated with an emaciated female figure playing a qin in a garden with flowering trees, and her servant holding a fan standing nearby.
