Ein exquisites Modell mit abnehmbarer Motorhaube, die es erlaubt, den sehr detailliert gearbeiteten Reihenachtylinder zu sehen, montiert auf schwarzem Sockel mit Plakette des Herstellers und der limitierten Ausgabe, mit Plexiglass Schaukasten und der Originalverpackung, nebst Authentizitäszertifikat des Herstellers Amalgam. Dieses Modell war limitiert auf 196 Einheiten, dies ist Nummer 32. Dieses Modell befindet sich im Neuzustand.

A FINE 1:8 SCALE MERCEDES W196 BY BESPOKE MODEL MAKERS AMALGAM,
exquisitely modelled, with removable engine cover to reveal straight 8 engine in incredible detail, the model mounted on a black stand with maker's and limited edition plaque, with Perspex display case, together with all the original packaging as when new and the Certificate of Authenticity from Amalgam. The edition was limited to a maximum of 196 units of which this is number 32. This particular model is in "as new" condition.

Bonhams versteigerte das Originalfahrzeug im Rahmen des Goodwood Festival of Speed von 2013.

    Modelled on the car raced by Juan Manuel Fangio at the 1955 British Grand Prix held at Aintree. "The Train" of Moss and Fangio driving so close their cars appeared to be coupled together, finished in an unbeatable first and second place. Bonhams offered the original car for sale at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2013.

Buyers' Premium and Charges

Like the vast majority of auctioneers Bonhams charge what is known as a Buyer's Premium. Buyer's Premium on all Automobilia lots will adhere to Bonhams group policy:

25% up to £50,000 of hammer price,
20% from £50,001 to £1,000,000 of hammer price,
and 12% on the balance thereafter. This applies to each lot purchased and is subject to VAT.

For Motor Cars and Motorcycles a 15% Buyer's Premium is payable on the first £50,000 of the final Hammer Price of each Lot, and 12% on any amount by which the Hammer Price exceeds £50,000. VAT at the standard rate is payable on the Premium by all Buyers, unless otherwise stated.

Some lots may be subject to VAT on the Hammer Price. These lots will be clearly marked with the relevant symbol printed beside the lot number in the catalogue.
