    Provenance: James Steele, Royal Artillery (Field), who served in Malaya from January 1941 to February 1942, when interned as a P.O.W. at Changi until his release in October 1945. In December, with the rank of warrant officer, he was discharged as "ceasing to fulfil army physical requirements"; by family descent to the current owner.

25% on the first £100,000 of the hammer price
20% on the excess of £100,001 and up to £2,000,000 of the hammer price
12% on the excess of £2,000,001 of the hammer price

VAT at 20% will be payable on the amount of the premium.
