    Provenance: Laurence Palmer, inscribed twice on title and dated 1638, possibly the seventeenth century rector of Gedling, Nottinghamshire, author of Saints Pauls politiques, or, a Sermon against neutrality, 1644; Thomas Cursham, ownership inscription inside upper cover dated 1738.
