A fine 20th century skeleton clock with twin fusees and Hardy's chronometer escapement
The pierced shaped frame united by five substantial vase-shaped pillars secured by large blued steel screws front and back, the six inch silvered Roman chapter ring with pierced hands, the twin barrels with maintaining power and winding from the rear on to two large fusees, the escapement set on a horizontal platform above, surmounted by the large helical hairspring with Arnold's U-shaped balance with bimetallic centre and timing screws, to Hardy's rare form of detent escapement acting on the four-inch diameter 'scape wheel, all raised on a mahogany base under a glass dome the clock 39.5 (15.5ins) high. Buyers' Premium and Charges

Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £2,500 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £2,500 up to and including £300,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £300,000 up to and including £3,000,000;
and 13.9% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £3,000,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
