Comprising a bone carving of a rat on bale of rice; a stag antler study of a rat resting on an abalone, with inlaid eyes; a small 19th century netsuke of a monkey holding a peach and seated on an abalone; and a 19th century stained ivory study of a Mandarin duck; together with a molded clam-shell shaped netsuke with an oni on the exterior, the interior depicting Okame scattering beans in the Setsubun ritual.
