A silver-mounted sporran for the 48th Canadian Highlanders
probably circa 1900
Brown horsehair with two white horsehair tassels; silver cantle engraved with thistles and applied with silver regimental badge; russet leather back with two suspension loops, the pocket flap piped in black leather.
Condition: Silver with unpolished patina. Leather back showing wear, partially open seam and with tears and losses to flap piping.
