A study collection of Medieval tiles, 13th-16th century
Comprising three inlaid heraldic tiles with double-headed eagles, one with a floral design, a fragment of an alphabet tile and a corner tile, all Nottingham 14th century, a Penn floral tiles and another Penn tile with fleur-de-lys, three armorial tiles, one with the crest of Astley, one with the crest of Ferrers and the third with a shield, all 14th century, a 13th century tile fragment with a griffin, and Dutch fireplace tile with portraits of Charles V and his son Philip dated 1561, together with various other tiles and fragments including some plain tiles, various sizes (all with losses and wear) (24)
