An early 18th century oak and inlaid Cwpwrdd tidarn, North Wales, possibly Caernarfonshire, circa 1720
Typically in three parts, the frieze with turned end-pendants centred by inlaid initials, raised on recessed baluster-turned supports and elegant ball-turned end-spindles, the back of four fielded panels, the middle-section with geometric bog-oak and yew chequer-inlay to the frieze, and again with conforming end-pendants, enclosing a pair of fielded panelled cupboard doors, centred by a fixed panel with yew-wood applied arch and split turned-moulding, the lower-section with three fielded drawers, over a pair of single-panelled cupboard doors, the middle and lower-section front rails all with chequer-inlay, on extended stile supports, 136cm wide x 58.5cm deep x 198cm high, (53 1/2in wide x 23in deep x 77 1/2in high)

Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £2,500 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £2,500 up to and including £300,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £300,000 up to and including £3,000,000;
and 13.9% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £3,000,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
