A good collection of 12 illuminated manuscript leaves, mostly from Books of Hours, on vellum, the fifteenth century ones each with one decorative vertical panel border (recto and verso) of colours and gold, mostly with acanthus leaves and trailing flowers, one with a grotesque, one with a bird; the thirteenth century leaf from a Bible with one fine 6-line initial in colours, the design incorporating a dog's head and a perching bird, window-mounted, page sizes between 240 x 150 and 155 x 100mm., [Paris and Northern France, most c.1475-1500, one c.1280] (12)
