A lot of two 19th century trade axes
Comprising a heavy 'squaw' axe, the blade with 3 1/4 inch convex edge, one side struck a rectangular mark AR, mounted on a 17 inch haft; the other with rounded poll, 2 3/4 inch convex edge and marked with an R and another letter on one side; mounted with later 14 inch haft.
Condition: Both with heavy patina and areas of pitting.
