In excavated condition, with tapering double-edged blade with shallow central three-quarter length fuller along each side, the fuller on one side at the forte inlaid in latten with a Lombardic 'B' and a stylised running wolf mark, hilt comprising spatulate horizontally recurved quillons pinched-in over the forte, flat tapering tang clearly stamped with a circular bladesmith's mark, and flat rectangular pommel drawn-up to the button and with a raised boss on both sides
90 cm. blade, 112.2 cm. overall

Buyers' Premium and Charges

Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £2,500 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £2,500 up to and including £300,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £300,000 up to and including £3,000,000;
and 13.9% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £3,000,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
