In excavated condition, with broad tapering double-edged blade with shallow central fuller over most of its length on both sides, the fuller on one side at the forte inlaid in latten with a cross mark between arrowhead-shaped marks, hilt comprising robust very slightly downbent quillons of square section, flat tapering tang, and large Brazil-nut pommel with two flats on either side at the top each inlaid with a small latten cross
