A Victorian silver mounted Stourbridge "rock crystal" glass claret jug

Cylindrical form, hinge shallow dome cover, with upright scroll thumb piece and knop finial, collar and spout embossed with leaf motifs and acanthus scrolls, the central narrow band pierced with foliate scrolls, the glass body above with similar decorated leaf motifs and acanthus scrolls, the lower body with vertical hob nail panels, on a spreading foot with leaf motifs, polished loop handle terminating with a heart shaped motif, height 27cm.
