An impressive gilt brass and Swarovski-Strass cut glass strung and hung sixteen light tent and bag chandelier
in the Empire style, manufactured for Asprey and Company and with theatrical provenance
the cylindrical candle nozzles with flared baluster shaped clear glass storm shades above prism droplet hung collars and slender knopped turned tapering terminals, all issuing from angular horizontal supports mounted to a banded wide girdle with anthemion cast mounts, the high corona with high stiff leaf palmette scrolls, the lower section of graduated tiered bowl shaped form, the frame all hung and strung with strings of facetted glass button drops above a prism droplet and facetted ball hung terminal, 310cm drop, 104cm diameter
