A lot of two German World War II military orders
Comprising: 1) War Order of the German Cross in gold; four rivet example back marked 134 for Otto Klein; with original black leatherette-covered box lined in black material and white satin. 2) Long Service Cross, silvered with blue silk ribbon.
Condition: 1) Fine, slight wear to finish at tips. Box showing some scuffing; lining showing wear and losses around slot; satin with staining and pinholes where owner attached Long Service Cross.

Footnotes

  • Note: Brought back by consignor's father after his service in Europe during World War II. He served in the 30th Infantry Regiment from March of 1943 through March of 1946. His regiment was part of the 3rd Infantry Division and participated in the Battle of the Bulge and the invasion of Germany.
