A lot of three U.S. Model 1860 staff and field officer's swords
Including examples by 1) B. Pasquale & Sons of San Francisco, 2) the John J. Owens Company of Chicago and 3) Bent & Bush of Boston; each with 30 inch blade etched with conventional motifs, 2) additionally etched August G. Boss; gilt brass hilts of standard pattern, all with folding counterguards, 3) fitted with release button; grey shagreen and brass wire-wrapped grip; nickled scabbards with gilt mounts.
Condition: 1) Blade fine, 2) and 3) blades with some grey patina; hilts very good, all retaining 50% plus gilt finish; grips fine and showing light wear; scabbard with light marks; 2) showing pinpoint bubbling.
