An impressive silver centrepiece and candelabrum together with a pair of candelabra ensuite
By Boodle and Dunthorne, of Liverpool, London 1963 and 1964
All pieces with light spot hammered surface, the bases of each with open-work band of stylised anthemions between beads.

The centrepiece, modelled as an oval footed rose bowl on an oval stand,
The bowl with a removeable cover, pierced with two panels of entwined leafy roses either side of two lattice panels, centred with a stylised anthemion finial, one side with engraved arms, the oval base with receivers for interchanging the candle arms from the other pieces, length of bowl 39.5cm, weight 118oz

A seven-light candelabrum,
the detachable arms supporting tapering tubular receivers, with four upswept arms issuing from around a slender central column, the open-work oval base on spreading oval foot with a further two arms issuing from either end, length 47.5cm, height 34.5cm, weight 88oz

A pair of three-light candelabra,
the detachable upswept arms with circular drip pans and nozzles, the arms issuing from a shallow open-work circular bases with a spreading circular foot, length at widest point 37cm, height 18.8cm, weight 81oz

    Cuthbert Rudyard Halsall was born 17 December 1899 at Portland Street Southport. They married 16 June 1932.
    Arms and crest were granted on 25th November 1938.
