Arabic manuscript on cream-coloured paper, 37 leaves, 9 lines to the page written in clear naskhi script in black ink, illuminated markers between verses, significant words and names picked out in red, inner margins ruled in red and gold, catchwords, illuminated headpiece in colours and gold, corners rather thumbed, one gathering detached, contemporary marbled paper covers, tear to spine; bound with an illuminated ijazet/isnad copied by Muhammad bin Nu'mar, preacher at the Sultan Ahmed Khan in the town of Wadin in Bulgaria, and a seal impression of Dervish Muhammad Reza, dated AH 1253/AD 1837-38

Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £10,000 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £10,000 up to and including £450,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £450,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
