Millbillillie Slice
Achondrite – calcium rich eucrite
Wiluna District, Western Australia
Millbillillie was observed to fall at approximately one o'clock pm on an October day in 1960. Two men opening a boundary gate along the Millbillillie – Jundee Station track near Wiluna in Western Australia described an object "with sparks coming off of it" descending into a grassy plain to the North. Not until 1970 and 1971 were two specimens uncovered by a friend and a relative of the original witnesses. Local Aborigines later found more stones. Achondrites are relatively rare stone meteorites.
