An ivory three-case inro

Of broad, rounded square form, carved in relief with a flowering plum tree, the design continuing onto the reverse, signed Kaigyokusai with seal Masatsugu; with a globular ivory ojime, carved and pierced with peonies and inlaid with two gold shishi, signed Kaigyoku; and an ivory netsuke in the form of a peony bloom, its stalk with leaves attached and forming the himotoshi, signed Masatsugu. 6.4cm (2½in).
