A black lacquer four-case inro
Attributed to Ogawa Haritsu (Ritsuo, 1663-1747), 18th century
Of slender upright form, lacquered and inlaid with Toba riding on a mule, the reverse with large stands of bamboo, in gold takamakie with inlaid pewter, aogai and green-glazed pottery, the interior of black lacquer, signed with pottery seal Kan; with pierced iron and silver ojime. 9.2cm (3 5/8in).
