Saleroom notices
- The house depicted here is located in Santa Teresa. It has been suggested by Eduardo Schnoor that it may be the house belonging to Baron de Mauá (later Viscount), a pioneer industrialist in Brazil. He was responsible for developing the railways and other Brazilian infrastructure, and was one of the wealthiest men of his day. His assets at one point were more than the Brazilian Crown's entire yearly budget.
