A late 19th century carved oak twin pedestal sideboard based on the 'Kenilworth Buffet' of 1851 by Cookes and Son of Warwick
Each pedestal enclosed by a figural carved panel door flanked by two carved male standing figures, each below shelf superstructures supported by two carved bears and with a panel back carved with the date '1851', below a shaped pediment carved with 'ER' monogram, the whole centred by a landscape panel carved with a procession of figures, including some on horseback, on plinth bases, 228cm wide, 76cm deep, 167cm high.
