A pair of fine Bombay wood Side Tables
India, circa 1860-70
blackwood, carved and pierced, the back-splash with a pair of affronted birds on a floral vine, the top with front edge with foliate border, the serpentine apron with openwork design with a bird in a roundel on a leafy vine, on four legs on four scrolling legs, with tiger head supports at the top and the feet with a bird on a scroll, the back panel with further openwork vines, legs joined by elaborate leafy stretchers
