Six prints including Mukojima (Snow in Mukojima), 1931; Chuzenji Utagahama (Chuzenji Temple at Utagahama Beach), from the series Shin Tokyo hyakkei (One hundred views of new Tokyo), 1931; Otemon no hare no yugare (Spring Evening, Ote Gate), 1942; Amagasaki Omono from the series Nihon fukei shu: Kansai hen (Collected Japanese landscapes: Kansai); each signed in ink Hasui and sealed Kawase, the first titled and signed in pencil in Roman script Snow in Mukojima and Hasui Kawase, all with small circular seal of Watanabe Shozaburo; good impressions and color, soiling along the margins and light creasing to bottom left corner of Mukojima 15 x 10 3/8in (38.1 x 26.4cm) each approx. (6).
