The wide-mouthed jar with ribbed outer walls and separately potted base bowl added to the walls before glazing and firing displaying a celadon glaze of Longquan type; the bronze mounts featuring bands of lambrequins, running scroll and acanthus, flanked by scrolled handles with foliate finial, raised on laurel and gadroon base with four acanthus scrolled bracket feet stamped D 1371.
