The wash pail with cover, decorated with depictions of yellow and grey herons amidst foliage with pink and purple flowers, with blue and white geometrically patterned borders, 26cms tall and 35cms wide, together with various other English ceramics including a large blue and white ginger jar with depictions of Oriental landscapes, 26cms tall, a Crown Devon Fielding oval dish, 30cms long, a blue and white Foley Ware ginger jar with depictions of farmers and cattle before a windmill, a lobed S.F.& Co Derby dish with floral depictions, a lidded jar of black ground with depictions of colourful exotic birds, and a Leighton Pottery "May Blossom" vase and cover, 38cms tall (7).
