An extremely rare ali'i whale ivory pendant of the Oahu Island type, as opposed to the more commonly known hook-shaped, Big Island style; bi-funnel suspension hole indicating age with fine and rich light-brown patina showing signs of much wear; only one whale ivory example known in the Bishop Museum (C.140)
