A shipbuilders' model of the cable layer ship C/S "Restorer" for the Commercial Cable Co.,British, circa 1902

A shipbuilders' half block model of the freighter S.S. "St Eric" the hull built up from the solid in lifts in 1/4 in.=1 ft. scale model with a white painted bottom, broad salmon pink waterline and black topsides, the deck fitted with nickel-silver and brass fittings including helm and binnacle, ventilators, (2) life boats on davits, bridge with engine telegraphs and Kelvin-type binnacle. With an ivorine plaque lettered: S.S. St. Eric Builders John Blumer & Co Sunderland, Owner A D Wilson Esq Gothenburg. Displayed within a glazed mahogany case with back mirror. 74-½ in.(189.2 cm.) cased length.

A shipbuilders' half block model of the freighter "Devonbrae" Scottish, circa 1909. the hull built up from the solid with lifts in 1/4 in.=1 ft. scale, and painted with a white bottom and black topsides, and detailed with gilt brass fittings throughout, in a glazed mahogany case with half mirrored back(silvering oxidized), ivorine plaque lettered S.S. "Devonbrae" built by the Blyth Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Company Ltd Blyth Northumberland. Dimensions 245'0" x 36'9" x 18' 4" D Mld. 1909 59-½ in. (151.1 cm.) cased length.

A shipbuilders' half block model of the tramp freighter S.S."Mariston" by Hugh MacMillan (Scottish, circa 1912) the hull built up from the solid in 1/8 in. =1 ft. scale, the lifts and bottom painted red and pink with black topsides. Detailed with gilt brass fittings throughout, in mirror backed mahogany case with mirrored ends, with ivorine plaque lettered S.S."Mariston" No.319/Reg. Dimns. 353.3 x 51.1 x 23.8 feet/Tonnage Gross 3793 Net 2408/Built by Robt. Duncan & Co Ltd/Shipbuilders Port Glasgow/1912 together with small paper label for the model maker Hugh MacMillan of Greenock. 56 in.(142.2 cm.) Length.

A shipbuilders' mirrored back half model of the S.S. "North Cornwall" for the North Shipping Co. Scottish, circa 1924. the hull built up in lifts in 1/4 in.=1 ft. scale, painted with a red bottom, wide salmon colored waterline and grey topsides with the name applied to the bow, and a lowered gangway. The decks are of maple veneer with the plating and other details drawn in India ink. The decks are detailed with anchor windlass, ventilators, bollards, deck railings, deck hatches, stump masts with cargo booms, double bridge with enclosed bridge wings, ladders, stanchions, life boats on davits, running lights, funnel, brass propeller and rudder and numerous other details. Mounted on a front-silvered mirror within a mahogany framed case with turned corner columns. 109 in.(175.2 cm.) cased length.
