A huanghuali and cedar panel two-door cabinet, Yuanjiaogui
17th Century/18th Century
The slightly tapered cabinet with beaded frame enclosing well-figured cedar-burl panels opening to reveal two inner shelves, the lower suspending a pair of drawers, the front fitted with a removable stile, the side panels composed ensuite over u-shaped aprons, the top finished with brown lacquer displaying a fine craquelure.
