Footnotes

  • M.B-L comments: "Finding a few dozen commercially produced Victorian microscope slides in a cabinet is always exciting but finding a cabinet containing hundreds of them is virtually unheard of. Of all the items in this sale this is the one which I had the greatest difficulty in consigning for sale. It is a complete natural history museum in miniature and I love it!"
