A sizeable uncoiled ammonite displays thick nacre with subtle red-pink iridescence. Sixty-five million years ago this animal would have bobbed up and down in the water column, catching fish as they swam by. Mounted on attractive stone, this ammonite displays large, wide-set ribbing. Measures 11 x 6in
