1956 Ford Thunderbird
Chassis no. P6FH304749
Fun to drive and to be seen in, the two-seater Ford Thunderbird combined the head-turning appeal of a low-slung exotic sports car with 1950s American passenger car the ride, handling and reliability.

After launching the Thunderbird for 1955, Ford carried the basic design forward into 1956. The standard continental kit Ford added for ’56 created more luggage space. Cockpit ventilator doors in the front fenders and relocated dual exhaust outlets in the rear bumper ends were less obvious changes. A retuned suspension provided a smoother ride.

The offered car is a superb, fully restored ’56 T-Bird with the desirable Port Hole hard top. It was refinished in factory correct Fiesta red over matching Fiesta and White two-tone interior. The car is further optioned with the Town and Country Radio, automatic transmission, tinted glass, heater, fender skirts, chrome wire wheel covers, and air conditioning. From the excellent paint and arrow straight body to the immaculate interior and engine bay, this is an exceptional investment-grade Thunderbird that rides and drives as good as it looks.
