A Cree beaded gun case
Mid 19th.Century
Tanned skin gun case with four loom-woven quillwork bands in geometric designs, each band edged with white glass beads and quillwrapped fringes. Quill-wrapped strands with wool tassels along the central seam and case end. In several areas there is evidence of ribbon trimming.
