An early 17th Century oak and marquetry inlaid court cupboard
Of diminutive proportions, with Nonsuch style scroll and geometric inlay throughout, the frieze with leaf carved corbels, raised on a pair of ionic capital gadroon and scroll carved bulbous columns enclosing a stylized leaf carved and geometric inlaid cupboard door flanked to either side by a canted inlaid panel, with a conforming inlaid and corbel carved frieze drawer below raised on conforming bulbous column supports joined by a rectangular undertier, with scroll carved under rail, raised on stiff leaf carved block supports,, 122cm wide, 36cm deep, 117cm high (48in wide, 14in deep, 46in high).
