The central shield representing a marshalling of arms, the dexter chief charged with lion rampant, the remaining charged with cinque foils, rosettes and paired crooked staffs, surmounted by a pair of plumed ducal helmets flanked by scrolled acanthus mantling and fluted tapering columns.
