A Flemish 17th century ivory and tortoiseshell inlaid, ebony and ebonised painted cabinet, the fourteen painted panels attributed to the circle of Hans Jordaens III (Antwerp, circa 1595-1643)
the top with a baluster gallery, above a central door surmounted by a pediment with a small drawer and flanked to each side by four drawers, the architectural interior with a parquet floor and arched mirrored sides flanked by columns, the lower structure with a fall flap opening to reveal four small drawers, above two cupboard doors, the interior fitted with five further drawers, on bracket feet, decorated overall with painted copper panels depicting biblical scenes, the cabinet altered in England in the mid-18th century to its present form, 96cm wide, 39cm deep, 169cm high (37.5in wide, 15in deep, 66.5in high).

27.5% on the first £10,000 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £10,000 up to and including £450,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £450,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
