3/4 plate frosted gilt movement signed 'Hogg & Shaw, 52 Market Street Manchester, Kew.A No.24320', large compensated balance with flat blued steel spring, finely engraved balance cock, enamel dial with Roman numerals gilt hands and blued steel seconds hand, heavy polished case with London Hallmarks for 1866 and casemakers mark PW for Philip Woodman, together with the original rating Certificate from Kew awarding it a Class A with 76.2 Marks, dated December 1887 and also the 'Abstract of the Results of Trail' between October 17th to November 30th 1887 55mm.

Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £2,500 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £2,500 up to and including £300,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £300,000 up to and including £3,000,000;
and 13.9% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £3,000,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
