Hanging scroll, ink on paper; depicting the monk in broad, expressive strokes wearing a kesa, seated in three-quarter view, a fly whisk (chauri) in his right hand and a kan on his chest; signed Rosetsu with seal sakana; together with a wooden tomobako.
